I so love the briar rose... over the last couple of weeks the hedgerows have been filling with blooms...
The most beautiful delicate pinks, right down to almost white...
They are gorgeous whether just in bud or fully unfurled...
or almost spent...
...and even with the petals gone, which is only in the space
of 2 or 3 days... they are beautiful...

great minds:) I took a couple of photos of wild roses, I love them and they make fabulous rose petal jelly or rose petal syrup:)
